Welcome to my website and creative space! Youthful wisdom, intricacy, and the blurring between stationary and motion are central themes emphasized and incorporated into my creations. My work transposes into interdisciplinary fields of art, experimenting with stop motion animation, live-action short films, digital, and clay art. I aspire for my work to evoke feelings of comfort and nostalgia while also igniting a sense of creativity. It is my greatest pleasure to create art for everyone to resonate with and enjoy.
About Me
Hi! Thanks for checking out my page! My name is Jessica Fisher, and here is a little snippet about me and my life: I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. My family's tradition of 'family Friday movie nights' heavily impacted my love for film and my passion to write. But doing what you love can be very intimidating and scary to navigate through. More than halfway into my undergraduate studies, I realized I needed to follow my heart and chase my dreams ('it's never too late'—that's what I told myself even though my advisors told me otherwise). So, logically, I added on another major and continued to study. I was able to graduate on time with a Bachelor's in both Biology and Film Production (two very different worlds). Now, almost a year post-graduation, I am currently creating a short film at Aardman Animations! I am incredibly thankful for all the opportunities I have been given and will continue to follow my passion and venture into the film and animation industry!
